RUDAKOV Alexander Nikolaevich
Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Lebanon
Born in 1962. Received high education: in 1990 graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR. Speaks Arab and English.
In 1990 joined diplomatic service.
1990-1994 – worked in General Consulate in Aden, Yemen.
1997-2001, 2003-2008 – Embassy in Syria.
2010 - 2017 – Head of the Mission of the Russian Federation to Palestinian National Authority in Ramallah.
2017 – 2020 – Deputy Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Since August, 2020 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Lebanon. Presented his credentials to President of the Lebanese Republic M.Aoun in October, 2020.
Holds a diplomatic rank of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Minister.
Married. Has a son, born in 1987, and a daughter, born in 1991.
