TOURIST VISA TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Russian Tourist Visa can be single-entry or double-entry and is issued for no longer than 30 days.

ATTENTION TO THE TOURIST VISA APPLICANTS

Every tourist visa applicants, traveling after April 01, 2016, would be personally interviewed. While interview, the applicant should provide complete information about the host party, payment of tourism services and hotel accommodation, itinerary of the travel including all addresses of the expected stay, date of the last trip to the Russian Federation, two way confirmed tickets with fixed dates. The decision about the grant of tourist visa will be made in 30 days after submission of all documents.

 The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a tourist visa:

  • A valid passport which should have at least two clear visa pages and  must be valid for not less than 6 months after the expiry date of the visa. 
  • Properly and fully completed visa application form (one per person) (http://visa.kdmid.ru).
  • Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.
  • Confirmation of a reception of a foreign tourist issued by a host Russian Travel Agency.
  • Tourist voucher. 

A confirmation must contain an applicant's name, passport number, dates and points of arrival and departure, cities to be visited, agency's reference (or registration). The stamp and all the details should be clearly readable.
 Please note that a hotel booking only is not sufficient for a visa application.

The fees for a single entry visa are:

  • for visa processing: 105 000 LBP ;

The fees for a double entry visa are:

  • for visa processing: 168 000 LBP.


PRIVATE VISA TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a private visa:

  • A valid passport which should have at least two clear visa pages and  must be valid for not less than 6 months after the expiry date of the visa. 
  • Properly and fully completed visa application form (one per person) (http://visa.kdmid.ru).
  • Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.
  • An official invitation issued by an appropriate local branch of the Russian Federal Migration Service.

Please note that an invitation is required to be submitted in original.

The fees for a single entry visa are:

  • - for 4-20 days processing: 105 000 LBP;
  • - for 1-3 days processing: 210 000 LBP.

The fees for a double entry visa are:

  • - for 4-20 days processing: 168 000 LBP;
  • - for 1-3 days processing: 336 000 LBP.


BUSINESS AND HUMANITARIAN VISA TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a business or humanitarian visa:

  • A valid passport which should have at least two clear visa pages and  must be valid for not less than 6 months after the expiry date of the visa. 
  • Properly and fully completed visa application form (one per person) (http://visa.kdmid.ru).
  • Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.
  • An official Invitation issued by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by an appropriate local branch of the Russian Federal Service.

Please note that an invitation is required to be submitted in original.

The fees for a single entry visa are:

  • - for 4-20 days processing: 105 000 LBP;
  • - for 1-3 days processing: 210 000 LBP.

The fees for a double entry visa are:

  • - for 4-20 days processing: 168 000 LBP;
  • - for 1-3 days processing: 336 000 LBP.

The fees for a multi entry visa are:

  • - for 4-20 days processing: 315 000 LBP;
  • - for 1-3 days processing: 630 000 LBP.


WORK VISAS TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a work visa:

  • A valid passport which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for not less than one and a half-year after the expiry date of the visa. 
  • Properly and fully completed visa application form (one per person) (http://visa.kdmid.ru).
  • Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.
  • An official Invitation issued by an appropriate local branch of the Russian Federal Service.
  • HIV blood test (AIDS) Certificate. This certificate is valid for 3 month only (HIV blood test should be taken not earlier than 3 months before applying for a visa).

Please note that an invitation and HIV blood Certificate are required to be submitted in original.

The fees for a single entry visa are:

  • - for 4-20 days processing: 105 000 LBP;
  • - for 1-3 days processing: 210 000 LBP.


STUDENT VISAS TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a student visa:

  • A valid passport which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for not less than one and a half-year after the expiry date of the visa. 
  • Properly and fully completed visa application form (one per person) (http://visa.kdmid.ru).
  • Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.
  • An official Invitation issued by an appropriate local branch of the Russian Federal Service.

TRANSIT VISAS TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The following documents should be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy by an applicant in person in order to obtain a transit visa:

  • A valid passport which should have at least two clear visa pages and must be valid for not less than one and a half-year after the expiry date of the visa. 
  • Properly and fully completed visa application form (one per person) (http://visa.kdmid.ru).
  • Two recent photos of an applicant sized 3,5 x 4,5 cm.
  • Valid tickets for entry and exit from the Russian Federation.

A valid visa to the country you want to enter after leaving Russia or passport of that state.

The fees for a single entry visa are:

  • for 4-20 days processing: 105 000 LBP;
  • for 1-3 days processing: 210 000 LBP.

The fees for a double entry visa are:

  • for 4-20 days processing: 168 000 LBP;
  • for 1-3 days processing: 336 000 LBP.


Dear visitors,
The Consular Section of the Embassy informs the Consular section will accept visa application forms completed online only on the special website of the Consular Department of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation http://visa.kdmid.ru.
Application forms should be filled in English or in Russian, printed and signed by applicants personally.

All questions in application forms should be answered. Incomplete visa application forms will not be processed. Visa application forms taken from other Internet sources as well as hand-written visa application forms will not be accepted.

Visas cannot be swapped or extended. If your travel plans has been changed after the visa issuing, you have to re-apply for a new visa. Also a new visa fee is to be paid by the applicant.
Visa processing commences only after all necessary and proper documents have been presented by an applicant and accepted by a consular officer. Incomplete set of documents may lead to refusal of visa processing, or documents may be returned to an applicant undone.
In some cases the Consular officer may request additional documents.

EU passport holders should submit travel insurance policy that is valid in the Russian Federation for the whole period of the journey.


Information for private, business, humanitarian, work and student visas applicants!

Visa to the Russian Federation may be issued according to e-mail invitation.

E-mail invitation is the document, issued by the Office of the Federal Migration Service of Russia or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and sent to the Consular Section of the Russian Federation in the country and the city where foreign citizen is going to apply for a visa.

Foreign citizen, having e-mail invitation, sent by e-mail or just having the number of this invitation, may apply the Consular section of the Russian Federation for a visa without any additional original documents.

The Consular Section of the Russian Federation should receive e-mail invitation from the Office of the Federal Migration Service of Russia or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before the person comes to apply for a visa. Even if person has the copy or number of e-mail  invitation, he/she should make sure that e-mail invitation was received by the Consular Section.

We inform you that granting Russian visa is an advance consent to allow to visit Russia.
The decision to allow a foreigner or a stateless person to enter the territory of Russia is taken by the Russian Passport control authorities in the airports.

Forbiddance a foreigner or stateless person the country can be caused by the following reasons: presenting false documents, inaccurate information while filling an application form in the Consulate, false or incorrect information about the true objective of visiting Russia, other doings which are found to conform to the Russian Law.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons can verify beforehand the existence of personal restrictions to visit Russia on the official portal of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation (only in Russian) in the section «Information Services», the subsection «Verification of the existence of personal restrictions to visit Russia».
